1946 Gibson L48 Spruce Top
Woah what a stunning sounding guitar. This early production L48 predates the 1947 logo change and, unlike later models, has a solid spruce top. It really sings and is plenty loud enough to play as an acoustic guitar.
This guitar is in amazing condition for its age, the mahogany back and sides nicely checked but virtually unmarked.
There's a dint in the back of the neck near the heel and one scratch near the pickguard. The tuners are non original. Otherwise, the neck angle is perfect with plenty of height adjustment left at the bridge, the frets are all good and it plays like a dream.
Comes with aftermarket quality hard case.
