1979 Gibson Explorer E2

Meet Dora! Dora has seen some action. But her heart and bones are strong and she's ready to find her forever owner. 
Dora is an ultra rare 1979 Gibson E2 Explorer. She's even rarer than your standard E2 as she has the walnut laminates on the inside and the maple on the outside. 
She's had her old pots and switch and knobs replaced (they come with the guitar) but apart from that is all original, including hot 79 T Top pickups, wiring, scratch plate, bridge, tuners, etc. 
Though the finish on the back is pretty ugly, the fretboard and frets and headstock are in excellent condition and the guitar has no issues. The frets have almost full life and truss rod functions perfectly. 
A couple of extra holes have been drilled in the body wings - it looks like this guitar was hung up and displayed at one point.
